Our Life Size Silhouettes Are Designed To Bring Awareness Encouraging Motorists To Slow Down In Neighborhood Areas Where Presence Of Vulnerable Users Including Children Is Common.
PROBLEM
The particular role of the built environment for children’s independent, active mobility has received increasing attention in research and practice. However, the complexity of the transactions between person and environment needs to be understood with special focus on children’s use and experiences of the outdoor spaces in a neighborhood.
There’s a growing concern that physical activity of children is being constrained due to parent’s fear of their children safety amongst neighborhoods due to road safety concerns.

A strong message to raise awareness
